This book brings together a group of diverse women throughout North America who are advocates for social change and offer pathways and strategies for positive actions. We come together to amplify our voices as a solution for upward growth and inciting change for a positive new world.

A two-time bestselling and award-winning author with GBR Publishing, Lola is a women’s advocate and social entrepreneur. With over 20 years of combined experience in teacher training, curriculum design, mind-body fitness education, athletic event management, and empowerment coaching, Lola is passionate about supporting women to share their dreams and impact with the world. She teaches powerhouse women in business through FemCity, an international platform dedicated to helping women succeed in business and life, and is the founder of Black Lives Rising, an online platform to empower the Black community across Canada.

Through initiatives such as Room to Read, World Pulse, FemCity, and now Black Lives Rising, Lola’s work spans from Canada to the US, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Lola’s ultimate vision is a world filled with girls and women who are strong, confident, and empowering the world.
